This is my first post after getting married. It will also be a free flowing post, solely for one reason. Against the backdrop of all my previous posts, it will serve as a very good post for analysis of the state of mind much before and just after marriage :)
While I;m confident that not much water has flown under the bridge, many would disagree like they always do.
As I embark on the MBA journey again this year, there are some 'headers' under which I will set out some targets which I would like to see myself accomplish.
Focus - clarity on plan for 5 years :)
Passion - an old passion has been re-ignited, the flame must not be doused by the fangs of laziness
Drive/ motivation - keep it up and running through this year
These are the vital ingredients, while some may lack in adequate measure now and then, they will be sustained.
Today is super sunday, starting 1930 hrs, my heart will be in my mouth as the red devils launch thier final assault towards the silverware. Interestingly this battle going down to the last day yet again brings out the fact that small mistakes through the course of time add up to one large sword hanging on your head at the end. Its always important to have an eye on the bigger picture. While it will all square up 'in the end', who has the patience to wait that long?
Kasab is in death row. Some suggest that he should be hung sooner rather than later, lest another hijacking takes place and we would have to give him up to the dark forces. I tend to disagree because he was a cog in the wheel whose life now adds no more value to us or the perpetrators. In fact, as a colleague suggested we should hire him at our company as an MT for infinity! Assume that a punishment.
Brinda is traveling to Singapore, lets hope she gets some goodies :)
