Thought
In a discussion recently, we discussed the power of thought and how it posseses the ability to influence everything around us. Like a mathematical equation, every action is a result of positives and negatives. And these positives and negatives are thoughts, and each and every one of the dozens that fleet past our minds everyday influence our actions.
When the negatives override the positives, there are bad decisions (depending on the way you are looking at it) and vice versa. The oddity ofcourse is that the positives and negatives are never equal.
Thought, action and consequence and three elements of the circle of life (it would help to imagine them as three points on the circumference and definitely not equidistant) and life itself is made up of countless such circles. Each circle has to complete the flow from thought to consequence and once that is done that circle ceases to exist.
Thought is the seed of this circle and its radius, which in in effect is the time that the thought takes to become consequence, depends on the power of the thought and the many positives and negatives that follow.
With 71 days to go before I go from beer mortal to mere mortal, here's to the circle of life never catching up when you least want it to.
But it will surprise.
